Hello,

I've got an acer laptop model F5-573G-75UZ from some years ago. Recently some keys stopped working and it was unusable without an external keyboard. I bought a new keyboard (https://es.aliexpress.com/item/32822997339.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.7b4660e5QzA88i&algo_pvid=f2948b03-e023-48c7-acc4-c559c491016d&algo_expid=f2948b03-e023-48c7-acc4-c559c491016d-1&btsid=2100bdca16088058126715314ef607&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_) that seems compatible but the power on key is not working.

If I start the computer with the old keyboard and then change to the new one, everything works fine but the power on key, I tried with a keyboard tester and when I press the power on button the keyboard test software detects the key "pause break" is pressed.

I updated the chipset, the bios and everything in the computer with no effect. Is there any hidden option in BIOS or somewhere to bind the power up key correctly?

Thanks and regards,

Julio

Which language is the keyboard configured for? Spanish? Which color is the case. Acer only provides the keyboard as part of the top case cover.

So your Aspire F5-573G came in black, blue and silver. Since the keyboard and top case are integrated into the same piece, we want to match the color of the rest of the notebook.
