If you can return it and get @2400MHz as the CPU supports up to 2400 and even in turbo(as it is basically overclock) mode can utilize 2666MHz.
Mine is the same model and I have 2x8Gb @2666MHz Kingston

Brand doesn't matter at all as they use 3 OEMs for ram chips  even my first stick has Micron chips and the second one SKHynix. As long as the specs are the same - everything is fine.

What is the exact model (should be AN515-XX-XXXX)? Please provide screenshot of the CPU-Z  SPD tab. Link to the RAM sticks you are planning to order?

Thank you so much. So the brand doesnt matter, and by increasing the MHz how does this help?

    Sorry to be asking you.

AMD CPUs are running better on dual channel and higher memory clocks below my specs of the RAM.

You can get even 2666 if you find it cheaper and you are welcome! Look at the benchmark link in my signature, the ram can run at 2666 while CPU is in turbo mode.
