Black screen on E5-475G-3783

Fairly recently I replaced the battery of my laptop and it works fine at first but after a few days when I turn it on it will just give a black screen. Though you will see the power light is on(steady blue) and the fan is on. I had to turn it back off and on a few times and it will work again. But after turning it off and a few hours would pass you will see the same problem. Or even if I would just restart my laptop it will not boot back up and the screen will remain black but the power light is and the fan are on. Then I would turn it back off and on a few times before it will start working again. Also, I have 8GB and 4GB RAM installed. Sometimes when my laptop finally turns on it will only detect the 8GB RAM. Any ideas on what I can do to try to fix this?

If you can still see a TV screen using an HDMI cable when the lid screen is black (you may have to press FN+F5 or FN+F6 to turn screens on), then the LCD cable probably needs to be replaced from wear and tear of opening and closing the lid too much. New replacement cables for your model are less than $20USD. The 4GB modules detection issue may be fixed by re-seating the modules in the socket to help clean the contacts or replace it with another same speed 8GB module as sometimes RAM works best with matched modules and speeds.
