Charger issue with the Predator Helios 300 (2018) G3-571

So I have had this laptop for coming up on 3 years now, so there's bound to be problems popping up. The issue I'm having is that the charger wont stay connected. Now this should be easy, just get a new charger. But I've also been having issues with my battery and was wondering is there anyway to check to see if this is a port issue, a charger issue, or a battery issue. The main reason I've noticed it is because the screen dims for a second or so every time the charger reconnects. So is there any way to see what the issue is without buying a new charger.

You can try reset the battery to see if this help, turn your notebook off, unplug the AC adapter, hold the power bottom down for 15 seconds.

Would be interesting as well check how is your battery wear level, if you decide buying another charger this is the part number for compatible one KP.13501.007
