The Spin 713 CP713-2w-5874 does support a USI stylus.  I recently purchased both.  I have the Iplume USI stylus. It works great.  Note the buttons do no work, but that is actually due to the current version of the Chrome OS, not the pen.  Hopefully future updates to the OS will enable the buttons. I have taken notes, and the palm rejection does work while the pen is connected to the screen (actively writing). So it takes some getting used to.  I have only tested the levels of pressure on a basic sketch app.  it does give a darker line when pressing harder.

After much non-sense from UPS I have the Lenovo USI stylus and have confirmed that it works both in Chrome Canvas and Krita for Android. Wasn't able to test it with the Linux version of Krita.

If anyone from Acer is reading this: you need to update the product page for the Chromebook Spin 713. A lot of the prerelease media specifically mentions USI compatibility but there is literally nothing on the product page about compatibility and there's a ton of misinformation online, including in this thread.
