The CPU fan is annoying noisy.

Today I cleaned the dusty fan, I tried to remove the fan cover. This one appears to be glued or taped on one side.
The axle of the motor needs a drop of oil, then the problem is solved.

Replacing the fan for an new one is a lot of work. The complete heat sink must be removed including that part on the processor and graphic processor.
The simplest thing would be if I could remove the fan cover and then the fan itself for an drop of oil.

This computer is from February 2018 and already a worn out fan?

If anyone knows a solution, I would like to hear from you.

    UPDATE.

    Temporarily resolved.

    the solution is.

    0 Turn off the computer.
    1 Remove all cables
    2 remove the cover.
3 Drill a small 2mm hole in the fan.
4 Drill the hole 2 mm from the center of the fan.
5 Tilt the computer 30 degrees. put the drilled hole up, drip 2/3 drops of oil into the hole, let it sink for a while.
6 Move the fan back and forth and around With your finger a few times. Clean it up.
7 Hold the computer in your hands connect the power. hold the computer horizontally for a moment, then start it up so that the fan can throw excess oil away. keep this in mind. Tip do it outside.

9 after a few minutes running put the computer back on the table and if necessary clean oil splashes. Reassemble the cover and the job is done.

Here it is wonderfully quiet again.

Please note that you can use your notebook for a while. Side note everything what you do on your computer is at your own risk.

Nice, but which model is in mind? I assume  either AN515-54, ANA515-43, AN517-51 or AN715-51.

I have an Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7-793G

It does not matter what brand or model of computer. this applies to all flat radial computer fans. This works for a short or longer term. At some point, the fan must be replaced.

Here a photo.  see the little drilled hole almost in the middle, underneath the copper bearing bush.
