I have bought Swift 3x laptop yesterday. Company claims battery to be 17 hours but it is only showing 4 hours on battery saver.
Acer please fix this .

P.S.: I dont have so many apps running .

What are you running for an antivirus app? Have you gone into the Battery settings to see what apps are using it the most?

Yes, antivirus is running but this should not affect the battery to that extent.
Apps that were runnning were chrome, file manager, edge thats it.

What does Battery Settings say the usage is?

Currently my battery (while posting the review) is 73% | power mode better battery| estimated time is 2 hours and 3 minutes.
    Could this be not fixed.

So the top two are using battery with disk activity and the next one is more likely to be doing network activity. Have you tried to calibrate the battery for Windows yet? Windows is pretty notorious about having glitchy numbers until enough time has passed to get a handle on things. You can speed that up with a couple of cycles through calibration. Run it on battery until Windows shuts it down due to battery status, then charge fully before you turn it back on.

Also tried battery calibration, no improvement is seen.
100% is showing to estimated for 3 hours 2 minutes.
    Battery mode is better battery.
    Why false facts ?
New laptop not even running for 5 hours and you claim for 16-17 hours .

Try changing the fan mode to silent - Ctrl + F
This helped me get 1-2 hours more.
    Tried battery calibration 2-3 times.
    Updated to latest bios update.
After doing all these and uninstalling antivirus software and other bloatware, I am getting about 9-10 hours (On battery saver mode - browsing web)
