Hi everyone. I think I made a really really stupid mistake. I bought 3600mhz ram (https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX80360) and they're running at the basic clock speed at 2133. I just realized that his computer doesn't have XMP enabled, which is really making me troubled. I checked the Bios and no information on Ram at all. I should have done more research on the JEDEC timings, and mow it's giving me a headache right now. Sure, the computer will run at 2666mhz again if I remove the G.skill ram, but it'll leave me back to 12GB which clearly isn't enough ram for the stuff I need to do. I think I might have just wasted 100 dollars... Is there any way to enable XMP from a bios update or something?

Nope, sorry mate. The BIOS Advanced options are hidden and there is nothing you can do yet. The only way is to flash modded BIOS with programmer.

@batmalin thank you. I guess I'll have to stick to the default speed

Yeah, the chipset sets memory speed, not the memory. So buying faster ram than the motherboard supports is jest spending extra money...
