Hi,
Download and install CPU-z, run it and find out the specs of your current RAM in Memory tab and SPD tab, if you have a 8GB single stick 2666MHz module, buy another module with same specs, like 2666MHz frequency, DDR4 UDIMM module and install to make the total memory of 16GB, if your PC came with a different speed RAM, buy the module with matching speed.

Hi,
Do you have one 4GB RAM at the moment? If so you need to buy 3 sticks of DDR4 UDIMM modules of 4GB RAM and install to make 16GB RAM, you have 4slots for memory, so buy another 3 sticks of 4GB RAM and install.
The links I have posted to show you an example, you can buy from any retailer but specs should be same as in those examples.0 -
i have two 4gb sticks. would it just be easy if i just take out the two 4gb ram and just put in two 8gb0

Yes, you can take out 2 4GB modules and replace them with either 2 8GB modules or 2 16GB modules, you don't have to do anything.1

im confused then as cpuz is saying i have 4gb in slot 2 and 4 but what chart you sent is sayin na and the chart is sayin 4 gb in sot 1 and 20

Look at the MB, usually slots have pairs with black and grey color or similar colors. Put the ram in the slots with the same colors.Please click "Yes" if I have answered your question.

The motherboard should have the numbers marked. They go 1, 3, 2, 4 from the farthest away from the CPU to the nearest.

I just bought the Nitro N50 610 UR14. It came with a single stick of 8 GB ram. I just purchased two 8 gig sticks to upgrade. Which two ports should I install them in? I have read to use slots one and three or slots two and four but have read that selecting the right two ports makes the difference. If someone can tell me which two ports I would be ever so grateful. I bought a Acer Nitro N50 610 a year ago and it came with 12GB of ram, 4GB DDR4 2667 (1333Mhz) and an 8GB DDR4 2667 (1333Mhz) Kingston ram. If I buy a pair of 16GB ram in addition can I just plug them into the available 2 slots or do I have to remove the other ram?
