CD/DVD ROM boot option missing in Bios - Acer Aspire 5552-7819

Hey everyone!

I was hoping someone can help me with this issue. I am trying to DBAN the hard drive on my Acer Aspire 5552-7819 laptop. However, when I hit F2 to get to the setup Utility and select the Boot section to change the boot priority order to have the CD/DVD ROM as the first option, I find that it is missing. Here are all the options listed:

1. IDE0: WDC WD3200BEVT-22A23T0

2. IDE1: MAT**bleep**ADVD-RAM UJ8A0AS

3. USB FDD:

4. Network Boot: LEGACY PCI DEVICE

5. USB HDD:

6. USB CD/DVD ROM:

So with these options I chose to move the USB CD/DVD ROM to the top of the list, but I know that is not the internal CD/DVD ROM drive and it did not boot up with the CD when I tried it. What can I do? What is the problem?
