E5-476G NVMe top speed

hi, i've been research NVMe SSD for E5-476G and I found that E5-476G only support gen3x2 SSD so it can only use half speed for gen3x4 (samsung 960 Pro r/w: 3500/2100) but i've found another person can use full speed for NVMe gen3x4 (adata sx6000 r/w:1800/600)

so what is true fact about NVMe SSD speed in E5-476G?
can you guys reply with your SSD spec and benchmark speed?

Hi Man, How do i Know which of the pci ports will be used for the Nvme card? There are 4 of them. Thanks in advance

This thread is 18 mos old. Please start your own new thread by clicking on the ask a question button for better attention. The maximum link width you should assume for this model is 2X or half NVME speed. The HWInfo64 is not always accurate There should be only one m.2 port available for an m.2 SATA or NVME card. You must check that this port has only one M-key bump on the right hand side to use an m.2 NVME card. If it has two B+M keys, then you can only fit an m.2 SATA card
