I have a Predator 300 model PH315-52-710B. The screen broke (VR accident) so I ordered a replacement. I plugged the new screen in and attempted to turn on the laptop, but there was no response. There is also no charging light. I plugged the old screen back in, same issue. The laptop had been sitting for a couple weeks unplugged / turned off, so I left it plugged in for a while but no change.

I looked through the forum here and tried about everything I could find about resetting the battery, CMOS battery, reseating components, etc etc etc. Nothing helped. I'm wondering if there is a switch of some kind in the screen or screen bezel that is keeping things from working. I couldn't find anything, but I can't think of what else to check for. It's only 9 months old and I'm sure I voided the warranty by opening it up, so I'd love to find a solution obviously.

Thank you.

@JDad67 I'm sending it to Acer and hope they repair under warranty.
