Do you know the history of this spillage? A sugared liquid would be very corrosive to the mainboard. The mainboard should've been cleaned & washed with distilled water or rubbing alcohol immediately after it happened. Sorry, the mainboard is probably gone if it was stored for more than a few days with dried liquid spill still contaminating it. Jack E/NJ

I dont think the mother board is dead because the computer turned on and I cleaned all the motherboard with isopropyl alcohol when I got the computer0

Yes but this only means probable intermittent solder contact behavior. The damage was already done by the time you cleaned it. You have two choices. You can try a full mainboard solder reflow. Or purchase a new motherboard for less than $40 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32707262853.htmlJack E/NJ

I cleaned the motherboard with a lot of alcohol and a special electronic cleaning chemical the computer started and turned off I even saw the windows logo so I think the mother board is not dead. And also now when I plug the charger, the battery led blinks so there is another problem

Like mentioned earilier, intermittent behavior suggests solder contact problems. Sometimes they make good contact. Sometimes they don't make good contact. Unpredictable behavior. Sorry, all the symptoms that you have described suggest intermittent mainboard contact problems. I suggest stripping the mainboard of all heat sensitive components, place the mainboard on an aluminum foil sheet, and bake it for about 10-15 mins in a toaster over preheated to about 425-450*F for a full-board solder reflow. A heat gun is useful if a small section of the mainboard is suspected of having at problem. You can use a magnifying glass to try to find evidence of bad connections. But this is often very hard to do because of the large number of small scale connections. And it's very difficult to control board temperatures with a heat gun. Jack E/NJ

ok so what pieces should i remove from the motherboard ?should I leave the cpu in socket because the socket is made out of plastic.0

Everything that is removable/replaceable including the CPU. The sockets themselves are usually temperature-resistant bakelite-type material that can tolerate carefully controlled reflow temperatures for a limited time. Jack E/NJ
