The other thing i can think of is windows background services like search indexing and such kicking in when power is connected that could put load on system to pull down its performance. Try restarting laptop and see if that helps. Were there any updates that came in in the last 2 days that may have caused this issue?

Is the power profile changing when you connect/disconnect power? Also click on battery icon and drag the slider to far right "best performance".

Its in best performance already and no power profile is not changing while connecting or disconnecting power.0

(2 days back I disconnected Charging when I was playing game then i noticed boost in performance before that i was thinking that my specs aren't enough for the games)0 -
@Piksul This definitely sounds weird - for it is supposed to be the opposite. One of the members here had posted windows 10 optimization tips - https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/612495/windows-10-optimization-guide-for-gaming/p1. Check this out and see if that helps in any way.

Start Predator Sense/Nitrosense/whatever software you have... and check the idle CPU usage and CPU/GPU temperatures when:
a. charger connected
b. charger not connected
Make sure to leave the system idle, without turning even screen off, for atleast 15-30 minutes and then we can have a look at the screenshots in both cases.

Those look great! I mean, really! Did you check your graphics card software for any options that may have been set accidentally. Example like below in nvidia...

Been having this issue for years but didn’t fully fix it. My problem is that the game uses to many resources so starts draining the battery while pluged in even when fully charges and then starts laggin. Maybe a stronger charger might fix it. I haven’t tried it yet. If i use power saving on nitrosense settings and on my graphic card it takes longer to start lagging.

If your Acer Nitro 5 Lagos when playing game or while plugged in. After going through all the recommended approaches and it doesn't work, then the issue is your GPU Fan. You have to open the laptop and remove the Build up Dust on your fan, if after that it still persist, then it means your GPU Fan need to be replaced. Thanks
