I have the acer predator xb241h that supports 144hz over display port but not hdmi, and I just got the next xbox series x and I wanna play in 120 hz.

I bought this hdmi to display adaptor to run from the xbox hdmi to display port on monitor which is compatible with 1080p 120hz. When u plug it in to the xbox it does not give me the option to switch to 120hz could this be a problem with the monitor?

I'd think it more likely an issue with the Xbox-X port since it certainly looks like the adapter should support that resolution.

Had the same problem, and did exactly the same.. finally called Acer and that junky monitor doesn’t support consoles. I was pretty upset after paying so much. Now it’s for sale, cause my Xbox series graphics look like complete *****. I will never buy an Acer again.
