    Bump. Same laptop, same issue. Monitor is an LG 34WL600

    So I'm 4 hours in and not having the problem any more, using external monitor. Solution for me was to disable the Intel display driver (Control Panel-> Device Manager). Must have been conflicting with the graphic card driver.
