hello everyone, like title, after searching all possible over forum, I can't understand:
PC type: Acer PRedator G3-710
actual SSD Crucial MX500 sata
I like to mount new NVME PCIE SSD
It seems to me that this MB does not have PCIE slot for new type SSD,
reading this forum it seems to me that installing new SSD PCI is possible but without boot ability for new drive,
I'm actually confused, i like new SSD PCIE but need that's bootable and installing on OS for increasing app's speed and OS load
I also see that exist adapter called M.2 NVME SSD PCIe host controller adapter, is it a good one for my pc?
or after installing this real tranfser speed is really limited and is not a good choice ?
finally please can anyone help me understand if my actual SSD SATA is maximum upgrade possible over this PC
or if is possible to ugpgrade to new PCIe standard drive?
please note: my english is very bad, but my ability when open PC case is worst,
please I need to understand like a child, and if is possible to mount PCIe SSD I hope you can show me exact product type and exact connection over PC port
THANK YOU ALL ! I wish you all the very best ever !

If your desktop is the Predator G3-710 (with the Acer G3-710 MIB15L-SophiaB 14069-1 348.02E02.0011 motherboard) the storage of the Predator G3-710 is of ONLY Drive Interface Type SATA-3 at 6GB/s "You Cant Put M.2 NVME PCIE SSD" (it has NOT got an M.2 slot) in this motherboard, you can only put SATA-3 6GB/s 2.5" SSD like the Crucial MX500. for examples of what upgrades you can put into your Predator G3-710, see Crucial Upgrades for the Predator G3-710 here: Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | acer | aspire desktops | Aspire G3-710 | Crucial.com good luck "danyag" have a great X-Mas and hope this helps.

Actually, the G3-710 does have an M.2 slot, it's just that the PCIe on it is old enough that it only supports SATA3 drives, not NVMe.
