Press and hold power button till machine shuts off. Remove charger. Press a paperclip into the battery reset pinhole on the bottom for about 30 seconds. Plug charger back in. Wait for battery charge LED to turn from steady orange to steady blue. Then try to turn it on again. Jack E/NJ

Shut laptop down again by pressing and holding the power button for about 5 seconds. Then turn it back on again and IMMEDIATELY press and hold the ALT key while tapping the F10 key. A recovery screen should appear allowing you to either refresh the system while trying to save your personal files or erase-everything for a factory-fresh system reset. Jack E/NJ

The D2D option in the BIOS Main tab must be enabled. Jack E/NJ

I actually did additional two battery resets and that seem to do the trick.  Although I got the stop code "unexpected store exception" and I'm wondering if that is related.  Regardless  many thanks to JackE for your advice and help!  =)

Thanks for report. Yes, sometimes the reset should be held even longer than 30 seconds along with pressing and holding the power button at the same time. Jack E/NJ
