I've updated all my drivers as of yesterday using the Device Manager. I turned off QoS in my tp-link control panel. But the wifi keeps disconnecting intermittently. Is there something wrong with the card itself, or are there other software/firmware settings that I'm overlooking? Thanks.

    Hi,
Go to Device manager, right click the WiFi card under Network adapters, select Properties and move to Power Management tab, untick the box for "Allow the computer to turn off this device...." and see whether it helps.

I was facing the exact issue with my Helios 300 2019 PH315-52 (i7-9750H-RTX2060) with my killer wifi disconnecting occasionally/randomly. What I did was go to killer official website download the uninstaller and latest driver for my wifi then disconnect the internet run the uninstaller FIRST and then reboot and install the drivers. After rebooting then connect to the internet and go to Microsoft store and make sure you have the latest killer control center. if not download it and run it and make sure you set the bandwidth limit. So far after doing this my wifi seems ok. Touch wood!.

Hope this helps someone out there...
Tips 1: For gaming laptop make sure before you shut down especially after a heavy gaming session to let it cool down for at least 10min before you switch it off!

    Potential solution!
I also have the same problem and tried all the trouble shooting steps above.  My Predator Helios 300 was the only device losing connection. I have a mesh network (using hardware from openmesh) and was wondering if that was the problem...so I created a separate wireless network using a very old Google WIFI device and gave it a different SSID.  After connecting my Helios 300 to the non-mesh network I have had no problems. Not sure it was mesh issue or what... but try adding an old WIFI router to your network, give it a different SSID and test it - I'd be curious to know if this works for others. Yes, it stinks having two separate WIFI networks...but beats permanently connecting my PC via ethernet.
