Helios 300 (2019 Model) no longer connecting to wifi

I sent in my laptop for acer repairs a few weeks ago, that issue is resolved but now my laptop refuses to connect to wifi. If I am in the same room as the router it only gets two bars and is very slow. It even disconnects randomly at some points. My brothers laptop is working perfectly fine with the router and wifi, so it isn’t that. However, my wifi isn’t showing the same networks it used to (i.e my neighbors networks) but my brothers does. In addition, when I’m in my room it won’t detect my wifi at all, only detects the 2g network but is unable to connect. I have to be in that same room to connect. I tried resetting network settings, forgetting the wifi networks, running windows updates, and the adapter driver says it is updated to the most recent driver. I really hope the acer repair support didn’t mess up my laptop. Please help!

Go to the Killers Network website. Download Killer Uninstaller and Killer Software Package. Use the uninstaller first and then install the software package.

I did this, when it restarted I had full wifi bars and a split second later it went down to 1 and 2...some on the techsupport discord and the reddit speculate that acer disconnected/damaged my wifi antennas...angered by this...any advice?

If it's not a driver issue , You would have to take it back to them. It should be fairly easy for them just to change the network card and stuff if it's broken. Idk if you feel confident about opening the laptop yourself , maybe the wifi cables got loose and disconnected. That's another possibility.

My laptop is no longer under warranty sadly, leads me to think maybe this was done on purpose. Very tempted to open it and check myself but I do not know which card is the wifi card and where the cables are. Could you help me out with that?
