Default thermal paste is not good.
Your laptop temperature limit is 89°C means when your temperature reaches 89°C-90°C system start decreasing GPU/CPU clock speed(thermal throttling)to protect your components.
At that time you experience low fps,lag and shuttering in games.
In this case, don't play games it may damage your system

You are under warranty take advantage to it
Acer engineer will clean your laptop and apply new thermal paste so, send it to service centre
First log your case and get your case ID
Get in touch with acer costumer care in your region for that

Everyone face this issue after 1year and this can be solve by cleaning fans, air vents and applying new good quality thermal paste.
I have same laptop with ryzen 5 and rx560x.
Recently I cleaned my laptop and new thermal paste now my CPU temperature go max 75°C while gaming for 3-4hrs and GPU temperature go max 67°C.

    You GPU is overheating?
