There are multiple models of most Acer monitors, with feature change from locale to locale. Do you know the full model number of your VG270P, it should be something VG270P PBIIP... Often they have two models for a locale with the only difference the speakers, one with and one without and a small difference in price.

I'm having the same issue. It sounds like I have the same monitor as the OP.  It's 1080p 144hz and is supposed to have a built in speaker as well. However, when I set my computer to play sound from this monitor there is nothing and when I tried to adjust the master volume of the monitor manualy, it's not even an option. I've checked and I do have the VG270p-Pbiip model. Any additional help you may have?

Yup, no speakers on the VG270P Pbiip model.

well that's unfortunate becasue I was under the impression that I was getting the one version wtih built in speakers. I suppose it's possible as I searched around I ended up coming across the model without, but that's just unfortunate.

Yeah, that's really easy to do... You search around and find one that's $20 cheaper than the next lowest price only to find the reason. :)

Hello, I have recently purchased this monitor, i.e., VG270 P, Please if anyone could help me find out the exact model of my monitor so that I can know that my monitor has speakers or not.
    Thanks in advance.

The full model number is on the box it came in and on the monitor itself, though in small text... You are looking for the rest of the letters, so something like VG270 Pbiix.
