12) Decrease sound quality to improve system performanceThis will highly benefits you in games and music-Head down to bottom right corner where you'll find little speech-Right click on it and press sound-A new window will appear and in this window go to playback tab-First right click on sound device and select show disconnected devices-Then one by one disable sound devices that you are not using or not plugged in one by one.
-Now right-click on your primary audio device (DEFAULT DEVICE) then go to properties-In the sound properties window, Go to spatial sound tab and make sure spatial sound format is set to off-Finally go to the advanced tab (same window) under default format set DVD Quality(16bit, 48000hz) and under exclusive mode untick both configurations.
-Apply and ok(In the sound window, do these same steps under Recording tab)14) Services tweaks
-Press the Win + R keys and type services.msc in the ''Run'' dialog that opens click ''OK'' and the Windows services will open-Now find and disable these services

@kolamushroom
In game graphics settings
-Turn off VSYNC, MOTION BLUR, GPU CRASH DEBUGGING(IMPORTANT)
-Set directx11 to get better performance because dx12 is in beta mode-Turn off these settings→i)RECORD REPLAYSii)record large team replaysiii)RECORD CREATIVE MODE REPLAYS(THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO BOOST YOUR FPS AND PERFORMANCE)
IN AUDIO SETTINGS-CHANGE SOUND QUALITY TO LOW INSTEAD OF HIGHHigher audio quality results in more CPU cycles devoted to sound playback, which means less power for the graphicswindows 10/11 optimization guide for gaming

I need help please!
So my nitro 5 will come with linux so I'll do a clean windows install, my question is, do I have to download all the drivers available here on acer or not? Because I've see people facing problems with bios drivers update so I'm scared and therefore don't wanna download unnecessary drivers, I only wanna get maximum performance possible for gaming.

@Weg
Just run window update it will automatically update your drivers.
And most important download and install Amd/nvidia software from official Amd/nvidia driver site
(Before installing amd/nvidia software make sure your window is completely updated)windows 10/11 optimization guide for gaming

I hope this helps people! I'm still not a fan of Win 10, in part because of all this junk that you then have to go through and shut off. It's probably easier for people who don't tax their system much. If you don't need much in terms of resources, it's not the end of the world if a few other things are running in the background, but it's just a hassle if you really need a better performing system.

I think he may have meant the sound icon. You can get to the same window if you right click the little speaker/ sound icon, go to sound settings, and then scroll down in the new window and click the Sound Control Panel under related settings.
