Having removed the brand-new, just-delivered computer from its box and connected to the power supply, keyboard and mouse (included in the box) and monitor, it will not boot. I have checked all cables and connections. The start button lights up briefly and repeatedly but the system will not start. Anybody have a similar experience? Any potential solutions? Or do I need to go straight for a warranty claim?

Best is to go directly back to your vendor for a swap. They typically offer 30 days or the like and it's a lot faster than going through Acer support.

One thing you can try is to press and hold the power button for 20 seconds and see if it will startup . If not, return the PC.

Thanks. I'll try that in the morning.

Thanks. I think it may come to that in the end, unfortunately.
