I have an Acer Aspire ES15 Laptop with 2GB Pre-Installed, 1.10 GHZ PROCESSOR SPEED, so I tried upgrading with another 2GB. It recognizes it and everything is good, but once I Open big file/App or multiple Apps iT crashes and will not work unless I Uninstall that RAM. Please help

A DDR3L sodimm is preferred. But its speed or frequency should be 1600MHz or higher to keep up with the speed of the 2GB 1600MHz that's already soldered to the mainboard. I suspect that you either got a defective module or it had lower frequency like 1333MHz.  You should be able to install a 2GB, 4GB or 8GB module. Jack E/NJ

There are dozens of ES15 models. Which one do you have? For example ES1-512? ES1-532? ES1-522???? Jack E/NJ

Please specify the brand and model number of 2GB DDR3 or DDR3L you are trying to install. Please include frequency, for example 1600MHz.  A phoneshot or link of the module you have would be helpful. Jack E/NJ

I took it back to the retailer right after it had problems. And I am very sorry I really don't knw anything other than that it was a DDR3L. I do not know anything about frequencies and the stuff ,really sorry.

Any way, what RAM specifications do you think my Laptop needs, on the basis of the model I Sent? So I purchase the right One?
