Hello,
Acer n50-600-ES15 DGE0HAA028838070E59600 https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/3605776
UserBenchmarks: Game 29%, Desk 88%, Work 27%
CPU: Intel Core i7-8700 - 94.4%
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1050-Ti - 28%
HDD: WD Blue 1TB (2012) - 87.8%
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666 C16 2x16GB - 69.4%
MBD: Acer Nitro N50-600

This PC is driving me nuts. Starting to not trust Acer Product.
So upon reading the forum for Acer N50-600, I thought that RAM that my model can be updated to is DDR4 2400/2666mHz as per below
I have now purchased and installed RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666 C16 2x16GB (which took me awhile to install to the right slots to get dual channel - there are no label on the mother boards and the forum  does not have information.)  It is now dual channel, but is only clocked at 2133mHz.  Why is it only clocked at that 2133mHz?

Also, did stress test for the GPU with Kombuster/Afterburner (as suggested by userbenchmarks) and it yields 16-17 fps.

My current Nvidia driver is up-to-date.  I have gone to Acer and updated all the BIOS as well.
I did what I can per the pinned forum link on improving Windows 10 performance.

How can I make the RAM clocked at 2666mHz as per purported RAM supported specs for this model.
How can I improve the fps as well.  (I know from research now that the per-built GPU is not the best, but 16-17 fps???)

Thank you for reading this; and much thanks if you can help me.

Your n50-600-ES15 Intel Series 300 chipset can take a max OEM set in BIOS of DDR4-2666MHz which is the highest official speed everything higher is technically an overclock, so you will need to enable the XMP in the BIOS (if you have that setting?) as an overclocked high timming RAM and greater speed RAM will always read 2133MHz and then and after you apply the XMP setting in BIOS, it will apply the manufacturer's overclock speeds so you can use higher and overclocked RAM.

Try that as the Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666 C16 must be an overclocked high timing RAM and that is why its showing 2133MHz speed only. If you can't change the BIOS to XMP then get a lower clocked RAM form Corsair or look at Crucial and what they recommend for your n50-600-ES15 here: https://eu.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/acer/nitro-50-n50-600

    Thank you for the reply,

From what I gather, I cannot change the BIOS.  I have tried.  Unless some knows how to do it.  From the video below, the repair/reviewer has on the screen @3:18 mark have 2400mHz, he did get his mHz up to 2400mHz, but I am no tech wizard.
From the youtube review link above as well, BIOS is locked. Is there anyway around it?
I am not a tech guy, just someone who thought based on spec that this is a ok gaming computer, but after toying around it I regret buying this.

For anyone thinking of buying ACER as a gaming computer, DON'T, please learn from my mistake and from the reviewer youtube above.
If anyone can make the RAM clock at 2400/2666mHz as per the manufacturer spread sheet. I am all ear

    Thank you
