Can't get installed Display Link driver software to show up as a display device in Device Manager

I am trying to set up a USB-C docking station for my Aspire F5-573G-74NG. I am not able to get my external monitor to connect via the docking station. I have installed and updated the required DisplayLink software. "DisplayLink Graphics" shows up in Windows' "Programs and Features". However, DisplayLink does not show up in Device Manager under "Display adapters". The external Samsung HDMI monitor I am trying to connect via the OKX docking station connects fine from the laptop's HDMI port. Has anyone successfully installed DisplayLink Graphics software to an Acer F series laptop?

Yes. You also need an active converter since the USBC gen1 port doesn't natively support video out. Active USB C converters are also available if you want to use the USBC port instead of one of the USBA ports Jack E/NJ
