I have a Acer-Aspire Nitro 5 (Acer 15) and I left it home for 20 days while I left for a trip. When I cam back it wouldn't turn on when I pressed power and is not recharging when I plug it (the plug works I tested it on another Acer I have). I tried to reset the battery using the reset pinhole. I tried a bunch of time, but it doesn't seem to be working. my best guess is that I need to replace the battery or unscrew the whioole case to remove the battery and replace it which I don't have the material or skills to do (thinking about sending it to Acer for reparation, but my warranty expired so I'm looking for solutions before sending it to the factory).

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Remove the charger again. Press and hold the paperclip into the battery reset pinhole again for 60 seconds. Then plug the charger back in. BUT DON'T TRY TO TURN IT BACK ON.!!! Wait for the battery charge LED to turn from steady orange to steady blue. This may take almost a day. Only then try to turn it on again. Jack E/NJ

The orange light doesn't turn on when I do what you say. I tried two different plug. No orange light, maybe I missed the reset button, but I'm pretty sure I heard a click
