My Swift 5 has just stopped putting out sound.  Sound settings say "No output devices found."  I don't recall updating anything since I had sound a couple of days ago.  What should I do?  The computer is out of warranty.

Which Swift 5 model do you have? Do you have a set of headphones or speakers attached? Can you test by adding headphones or speakers?

Same problem her "No output devices found."  after last update. The laptop is new Model  SF514-54T-74J4. Drivers are up to date, it seems. Any ideas?

@Mdand you should start a thread of your own so you can mark the solution when we find it. Does Device Manager show any glitches?

No glitches . . . no sound device shown.

@ErnieLane did you test with a set of headphones or external speakers like I suggested?

Yes; no sound.  I got a USB sound card, which I can use with corded headphones.

Hi I am having the same problem. I contacted Microsoft support, and they downloaded multiple audio drives and did an update of Microsoft so it may be acers problem rather than microsoft or windows.
