My keyboard S key came off and it wouldn't go back in ( it just started slowly coming out without me peeling it off as if it was becoming sticky) There weren't any food underneath when it came off and I was wondering if warranty would cover the keyboard? Warranty is pretty dependent on which country you are in. Contact Acer support for your locale and they can tell you. Typically something like that would be considered damage rather than a defect though...

No, not typically, though you can often purchase accidental damage insurance along with the system.
