Yes, it has basic 4GB of on-board soldered DDR4 RAM. RAM might be manufactured by Samsung, Hynix, Kingston, Micron or other RAM suppliers. RAM manufacturer can vary. You can add up to a 16GB DDR4 module for a total of 20GB RAM maximum. The BIOS is already installed and does not need to be changed if you add more RAM. The i3-10110u is also soldered to the mainboard and can't be changed. Jack E/NJ

It might help to reveal your full ACER model number. For example, E5-515?? On board RAM usually means the module is soldered to the mainboard and not replaceable. Jack E/NJ
