Hi,

Iconia One 7 B1-7A0.  Mfg: 2017.10.  Model: A7004

I connect power adapter to the tablet and there's a charging light (which gives me some hope).  But it cannot boot up.  Tried the different button combinations but nothing works.

I noticed Acer provides the OS image for download (3 of them).

1. What's the procedure to do a OS reload?  And can I do a OS reload when the device cannot boot up at all?  I can't even access the recovery menu

2. Which OS image do I use?  There are SKUs: WW_WEN1, WW_GEN1 and WW_GEN1

Any other ideas to get it working again?

IIRC you use an SD card formatted FAT32 and put the downloaded zip file in the root. When you go to turn it on press and hold the volume up button (or maybe down) then press and hold the power button. When the (tiny) text appears on the screen you can release the buttons. Use the volume up and down to navigate the menu and the power button to select. It should find and recognize the zip file and give you the option to install it.
Click on "Like" if you find my answer useful or click on "Yes" if it answers your question.

I have the Iconia One 7 B1-7A0. I do not know the exact Model, But I downloaded one of the OS and it was already a Zip file which I copy to the micro SD but the tablet did not find the file. I downloaded the OS  that is identify as "This image is only for WW_GEN1" and didn't work. I did a quick format to the micro SD FAT32. What I was missing is that the zip file needs to be paste on the root section of the Micro SD. Now the problem is that this tablet was my brothers and he didn't use it for a long time and now the tablet is asking for the Google email that was use or the phone number if you click on forgot email. The question now is, How can you make the reset so you can use a new email?
Hope somebody can help me and I hope that my comment helps @RV13
