I have recently purchased "Acer Predator Helios 300 Core i7 10th Gen - (16 GB/1 TB HDD/256 GB SSD/Windows 10 Home/6 GB Graphics/NVIDIA Geforce RTX 2060/144 Hz) PH315- 53-72E9 Gaming Laptop". Now have to change the RAID to ACHI for installing ubuntu as  dual boot. How to do this ?  i couldn't find any option to change in BIOS by pressing F2.

You have to disable Intel's "RST .." option and that should automatically change the "SATA Data" from RAID to ACHI. I think that is on the second tab screen in the BIOS/UEFI. However, if you have any data on drives (HDD/SDD) using RAID, you will need to back them up first. Once that RAID setup/connection is removed, it's very difficult to get to the data.  Before you try Ubuntu, beware you may run into problems using dual-boot with  Ubuntu + Win10. Sometimes it is related to which OS is installed first.  If W10 is your main OS, would suggest using VirtualBox instead. I tried several different scenarios on my new Acer using Ubu/W10 dual boot, and run into nothing but trouble. And I used to do it all the time using the legacy (MBR / BIOS) laptops.
