When I look for a cable on google for my laptop, I see a cable that has a four pin connector that is too large.  The cable in the laptop has a QR code that yields the text
DC301010O00T0741A8490001306
, but, of course, this text is not found anywhere, not even in this community. How can I get a replacement (or fix it without using a soldering iron)?

Acer part numbers use the first 11 or 13 characters of that QR code ... I found several cables listed using "DC301010O00"

one end has a small connector, one end has a larger 4-pin connector. Part number  "DC301010O00" came back as for "Acer Aspire A515-51;53 A615-51 DC-in power jack charging port (cable)".   ---- eBay has them .. I reckon Amazon does too .. but don't get ripped off on high prices. Just match up ends based on the one you removed -- besides the connectors will only fit where they're supposed to fit.

I picked the cable from AliExpress. We'll see when it gets here. The price was $9.50 (this is already the 4th try :-)

The cable came a couple of days ago. It was a perfect fit. Thanks to all for all your help.
