Hi all, my apologies, but you'll have to excuse my ignorance when it comes to tech!
I am looking into getting this monitor to use with my nitro 5 to play games and work at 240hz using HDMI 2.0 until I upgrade in a year or so and can use the full 280hz in new setup. I've read that up to 240hz is possible using 2.0, with the correct monitor, correct me if wrong.
What I'm not sure about at the moment is whether or not my current build could work with (I've read that you can get the 240hz using 240hz) with this monitor until my upgrade and I can use the full 280hz. I play old games on low settings so 200-400fps is no problem. Just need to know if these two products can work together.

Thanks for the help!

Oh, and my version of the nitro has an i5 9300h overclocked to 4.10GHz, pretty sure it wont matter for anything but just putting the info here!0

The laptop`s dGPU can output max 144Hz... so your monitor is overkill. It will work but on the max Hz supported by the laptop. Please click "Yes" if I have answered your question.

Is that 144hz at 1080p? Or does resolution not make a difference here.0
