Hi,
I bought a Acer Nitro 5 AN517-52 with 512GB SSD Drive.
Few days later i know the Drive is too small for me.
Can i install extra SSD Drive 512GB ? I read something and i know the Nitro 5, have extra place for HDD drive i have (HDD Upgrade Cable), but i can install extra SSD ?
What i need to bought ?  SSD (2,5 ?) ? some socket ? Cable ?

And what is about warranty ? can i open Nitro ?

    Hi,
You have two M.2 slots, one is for M.2 NVMe SSD and the other is for M.2 NVMe/SATA SSD, so you can install 512GB or 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD in the second slot.
One is near the memory modules and the other is next to WiFi card.

If you don't have a warranty warning sticker on any screws at the base cover, you can upgrade yourself, make sure that you don't damage any internal parts in the process, but I would suggest you contact Acer Support centre and make sure that you won't void the warranty by opening the base cover.

It depends on you Country I am told. I have an Acer void warranty sticker on bottom my laptop also and was concerned, and the exact words from the Acer HQ centre to me was "Upgrading RAM or installing HDD does not invalidate the warranty, but if there are problems caused by the process, the warranty is void. - Acer Indonesia".  It was a confusing matter for alot of us here also because the sticker must be broken to upgrade ram yourself and generally upgrading ram should never void warranty, and the sticker clearly does say warranty void if sticker broken but the HQ and their customer service agents say otherwise here. I was told they use the sticker here to just indicate it is a non standard machine and has been upgraded or modified from when you bought it.
