In the middle of working my laptop suddenly shutoff.
I try to restart... the power button lit up for a moment and I got 3 beeps and it shut down.
Now it will not light up or beep, just dead.
Brick has power. I removed and swapped RAM, I have removed extra internal HD.
Any ideas? Does Acer have a authorized service Center locator page?
Thanks

The 3 beeps often means, that the first 64 KByte of internal (processor) memory are not accessible. This could mean that there is something not right with your processor. Try to reset the laptop by doing the following:

    a. Remove CMOS battery and wait for 5 min

    b. Remove main Battery 5 min

    c. Remove the RAM

After all this, replug all back and reboot, let us know if this fixed your problem? If the same happens it could be that the RAM or CPUis corrupt. If its the CPU then you will have to replace the mainboard, is your Predator G9-793under warranty?

Thanks. But no go on the CMOS Battery or RAM Swap.
