Hello guys, I have acer nitro 5 i7-10th gen, rtx 2060, 16gb of ram. When I play games like warzone on high graphics, my battery going down even if it's connected to source. I start playing with 90%  battery and when I finish it's always be like 82% - 84%. I think it shouldn't be like that.

Well, if you're playing on super high settings then that's not surprising. Also, if you've had the computer for awhile it could just be that the battery is starting to be unable to handle it anymore. I recommend (through past experience) turning down unnecessary settings. Maybe change things that aren't super noticeable. You can also just change your computer to optimize battery instead of performance. What I'm saying is, maybe try playing on lower graphics. Or optimize the computer for battery instead of performance. The slight changes to the way the game is played can be annoying but if you really want my honest opinion, that slight battery drop is kinda insignificant. It is doing what it should, you just wanna try with lower graphics/different settings configs.

The thing is, that my laptop 1 month old. It’s brand new pc. But if I make battery to optimize instead performance, does the game quality and fps will be the same?

Well, no. The fps and game will be slightly worse. The other option is to just turn your game settings down a bit. Max graphics on a laptop is pretty harsh for the laptop. If you want to play max settings, get a console or a desktop. I'd say just change your settings to slightly lower. Play on medium-High instead of Insane-Movie. You understand?

The 1 month old thing is cool yeah, but it doesn't change the fact that a laptop can't handle a lot. It can handle quite a bit of things, these acers can handle quite a handful, but they can't handle you playing max settings without a bit of power slipping by.

You're computer is fine, just play on lower settings if this battery things is getting to you. Sacrafice graphics for your battery sure, you can also just not worry about it. 10% battery being lost really isn't that much, just don't game for long periods of time and hurt your battery.
