Acer Predator Helios 300 (2019) Battery Drain and GPU Overclock

So i recently purchased a laptop cooling pad and also utilized Hotel Hero's undervolt profile for the i9750H(did some tweaking of my own over period of 6 months of having the unit) and now I get some pretty decent thermals e.g. about 70-75 deg for CPU, 65-70 deg for GPU and 60-65 deg for System. Furthermore I have made sure that the fans turn to Max setting and also I have played around a bit with the GPU Overclocking settings and use the Fast profile.
I wanted to know if keeping these settings when playing for a long session(lets say between 4-8hrs in a day) is alright or will it wear out the components quicker despite giving me decent thermals? Also note that I only turn on Max fans and Fast(not Turbo) GPU Overclock when in game, once the game closes it's set to switch to Auto fans and Normal GPU Overclock settings.
I also noticed that whether whenver I play games for this long sessions, the laptop battery begins draining from 100% downwards(until about 35% where it almost stays constant), this happens whether i do GPU Overclock or not and Fans Max or Auto. Is there something I am doing wrong with the settings?

Need not be just the overclock. Even pushing both CPU and CPU to limits would pull some power from battery since the supplied power adapter won't be able to fulfil entire power needs.Blaz1ngFatal1ty said:I think it's a 60W battery that I have. I think it's a 60W battery that I have. I read somewhere that it's because the GPU on the laptop is running at a higher wattage when its overclocked slightly so I understand that it would chew into the already 100% battery and slowly drain it.

Figured as such, just wish companies could provide higher wattage chargers but I understand that may cut into their operating budget as well as the fact that chargers like the 180W one you have(probably) may be not portable enough...

Even 180 is hard buddy! Its a massive power hog for a laptop, especially travelling overseas where power isn't as cheap as it is in US. And personally, unless one always tends to hog performance to the max almost all the time, i do not see a reason for higher wattage charger.
