Hi, I tried the CTRL+S buttons but just a touchpad option appeared. I am with the newest BIOS for my system 1.08v.

If you have an advanced tab, press Ctril+S there. Jack E/NJ

Do you have an advanced tab? What is the SATA mode now in the BIOS Information tab? Jack E/NJ

Omg I am so dumb it’s in AHCI mode... But wait why does your BIOS look so good? Mine looks old and yes I have an advanced tab. But then why isn’t any Linux version working? I thought it’s because it uses the Intel Optane (RAID) mode. So what happens is when I try to install Linux every time it crashes... I tried Pop Os, Ubuntu, Linux Mint and Manjaro, but they all freeze during installation.

Yes, I think I see the issue. The Linux installations sometimes default to HDD0 or sda. Can you change to sdb in the Mint installation setup? Stay with the Mint install since it's better than most. Jack E/NJ

@JackE How can I do that? Is there a command for it which I can add before pressing install?

When you first boot from the Mint stick, there should be options to install it in non-default ways. It should be able to detect the m.2 card as sdb and allow you to either dual boot or wipe Windows. If it doesn't appear refer to this link https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=321742 Jack E/NJ

@JackE This is where it freezes after pressing install and waiting a bit it freezes on the part “A start job is running for monitoring of LVM2 mirrors...” you can see it at the end of the photo

How did you prepare the Mint iso stick? If you used Rufus, you should be able to boot to a live USB GUI session. Can you do this?  Jack E/NJ

@JackE Yes I used Rufus. I can go in to the USB GUI session. It freezes about 1 minute after I press install in the USB GUI session.
