So a few days ago I got a warless mouse from a buddy. As soon as I got home I set it up and got to some gaming. After a while I realized that my mouse pad stopped working and I couldn't do anything with it. I checked to see if I had simple turned the mouse pad off with the fn+f7 but it still would not work. I did a little bit of research on what I could do and someone had said to do a factory reset. I do that and it solved the problem. The next day comes and I'm doing some work when I notice that the mouse pad stopped working yet again. So this time I went into settings and did the reset. I turn my computer on after the reset and my driver had been deleted and I couldn't run any games at all. I really don't know what to do and I need help asap.

Try an ALT+F10 cold boot reset. Immediately after the reset, open ControlPanel. Search 'restore point'. Click 'create a restore point' in the left pane. Make sure SystemProtection is turned on because an update might be causing this issue and you can revert back and block the update till it gets fixed by a future update. Jack E/NJ
