Hi Guys,

I'm having trouble with what to do.

My G3-710 is currently operating on i7 6700 with Bios R01-A4 19/05/2016

I got my hands on a i7 7700k and trying get my cpu upgraded. I beleive my Bios is out of date and currently wont work with the new CPU but have no idea about how & which Bios update to support this cpu.

The G3-710 was shipped in two different versions. The older ones had 6th gen chips (Skylake), the later 7th gen (Kaby Lake). You can't swap versions, so you need to stick with the 6th gen i7-6700 or with extra cooling the i7-6700K. The Skylake-X high end processors use a different socket, so they won't work either. Anything newer means a MB swap and likely memory too.
