Connectivity Issues on my NITRO AN515-54 laptop (won’t detect 5G internet signal)

Hello everyone,

I bought my Nitro 5 about 2 months ago, and hired a high-speed 5G internet connection to go along with it. Now, I wasn’t having any trouble with my previous internet, but once the new router was installed I had to reconfigure my 2nd floor Airport to amplify the original router’s signal (both connected through an ethernet cable). Now, I’ve programmed my Airport to produce two different signals, the 2.4G channel and the 5G channel. All my devices can detect and run the 2.4G internet, including the laptop. But, when I try to connect my laptop to the 5G internet, it’ll appear as connected but with no internet, or as connected fully (but in reality nothing will load). When my laptop is unplugged, it will occasionally work, but the signal goes away after a few minutes. Now, I know that my Wi-Fi adapter/drivers are fine because they can pick up other signals without trouble, and I know that the 5G signal works because there are no problems when the laptop is connected through an ethernet cable, and I am using this signal to write this post on my phone.

Is there any way for me to configure my Nitro 5 in such a way that I don’t have any more trouble with this one signal? I’ve already gone into network preferences to prioritize 5G, but the problem remains. Thanks in advance to anyone reading this!
