I've had my laptop for about 3 months, mainly used for schoolwork and occasionally for gaming. Yesterday, as I was working my laptop suddenly died. I turned it back on and it showed about 70% battery and stayed on for another five minutes to turn off and say critical battery. I plugged it in, and it showed my battery was still around 65% battery. My Acer Care center shows that my battery is still good. It hasn't been running hot or abnormally. I have looked up some answers that say do a power cycle, but I can't. I have also seen to delete the Microsoft ACPI device, I haven't done that yet as those were recommended by users of other manufacturers, and I wanted to see what the Acer community says.

I have it plugged in right now and there is no indication that it is charging, the light isn't on and the windows battery icon says that it is plugged in, but not that it is charging. I have ensured that all the connections are tight

Return it back to Acer for warranty RMA.

Seeing how this is my only computer to do schoolwork, and all of my assignments are web-based I don't want to have to send it in unless it is absolutely necessary. I could get flash or hard drives and move my work over and work on the school computers, but if there are other possible solutions, even if they are temporary I could prefer working with those until I have time to send it in during a break. I will start working on a return form in the meantime.
