Did you have a BIOS update failure? If yes, what problem were you trying to solve with the update? Jack E/NJ

well i carelessly installed bios version 2.02 which as far as i know contains vbios for mx230 whereas mines a mx150. my laptop has been facing issues with tdr failures and other gpu related issues which i then back tracked to this bios update and only then i realised what i had done.
now i tried downgrading to 1.20 and more but the issue seemed to return after gaming a few minutes and games or anything requiring the gpu just wont open thereafter.
and then.. i installed the oldest available bios fr my laptop on the website n it has been bricked since. :')

and then should i just paste it to a usb and do the whole fn+esc power cord power button thing?
and do i need to unplug the battery?

It should be a FAT32 formatted stick with an activity LED. The FD file must be the only file on the stick. Plug the charger in. Plug the stick in. Press and hold the FN+ESC keys. While still holding the keys, press the power button to turn the machine on. Look for LED activity on the stick. After a few seconds of activity, you can release the keys. Should automatically shutdown in less than 5 minutes. If not, redo it again. Jack E/NJ

nope not doin anything. followed step by step. none of the three ports show activity. infact the usb3.0 port showed activity after i plugged in the charger and then the usb, but not after i held fn+esc and power.

Try another stick, preferrably small capacity 1GB or less. Jack E/NJ
