Overheating and Post-Replacement Service
I am using Acer Predator Helios 300(Predator G3-572). I was facing issue of overheating from long time. So after trying so many ways from online technician, They asked me to visit the service center(120KMS away from my resident). The complaint was logged for on-site but due to the service center denied to visit, i had no other option but to visit there. I went there, they examined the piece and said that the heating was due to dust. they cleaned it back and handed over to me.
I went home and after a day i started facing the same issue. i travelled 120 km in this pandemic situation again and went there. They said that they would give a try by replacing the thermal module. They order the module and said it would come after few days. After 10 Days, i got call from their side. I travelled 120km THIRD TIME and went there and got my parts replace. They said they replaced the whole module(Thermal Pad and Fans). After a week, The situation today is still the same. Overheating continues. When icomplanted to that service center. They say, you need to replace your battery. How would changing battery help the overheating to such greater extend(20-30 Degree)?
About the overheating, It isnt like that i play a lot of games and it heat. It gets heated even if it is kept idle for 20 minutes and you dont use a single software. Jut idle, The device heats up. I have last fe months of my warranty left. I dont trust the word of Service Center, So came here to get views from experts.
