Predator PH315-51 - Can't install Intel Driver needed to operate Adobe Premiere Pro correctly

Hello-

I have searched for the answer on multiple forums, but never seem to reach a solution.

I am being prompted by Adobe Premiere Pro to "Fix" an unsupported video driver on my Intel UHD 630. When I try to install the recommended driver from the Intel website, I am given an error message "The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer."

I tried several ways to troubleshoot this, but it has become apparent that I must use the drivers from the Acer website. I have the latest driver from there, which is version 23.20.16.5018 (more than 2 years old at this point). It seems that Adobe Premiere Pro needs version 27.20.100.8476 at a minimum to operate correctly.

On Premiere Pro, the video will glitch, clips will smash into each other, leave artifacts, change color. Clearly something is not right. I'm not sure what to do, seems Adobe have updated Premiere beyond the point where it can work with the old driver I have. Is there any solution to this? I honestly can't believe that I'm locked in to using the Acer specific drivers, which they have not updated in 2 years.

Thanks for your help.

Anybody have any ideas? It's making Premiere unusable which is the main program I use.

    Thanks.

Mycom you shouldnt be using premiere neither any heavy rendering software in the igpu you should use it on the dgpu set it up manually on nvcp but if you prefer to have really bad performance issues by using the igpu instead for premiere download the latest drivers from intel website and the panel from the microsoft store its up to you the intel igpu's are weak they arent good for heavy video work good luck :)

Has anyone had any luck or ideas to get past this error and get Adobe Premiere Pro running. The above answer of ADOBE BAD, ACER GOOD is not exactly helpful. Please advise.

EDN please raise your concerns with adobe/intel support as the issue its with their software/drivers or if needed microsoft support (as it might be a windows bug) this has nothing to do with acer at all also as i stated above my answer its correct the OP its using the igpu only and adobe premiere its not to be used on the igpu it requires a good and fast dgpu to process/render so my advice its exactly the same and any other Ace's here will also say the same if you need to work with adobe you need to get proper hardware for it good luck :)
