I have a couple of Extensa 2511 laptops with broken /missing keys (School pupils) and have been researching on how to replace the keyboard. so far i have been unable to find any help/ instructions to assist. I am hoping that this forum will be able to assist.

Is there a service/maintenance manual for this model of laptop?

There is, but not publicly available. The keyboard is integrated into the top cover, so a replacement is very close to a complete disassembly. Other than that it's pretty straight forward. There are twenty of more different keyboards, based on locale. Whenever possible try replacing just the missing key (although inevitably they will all lose the same one) and save any replaced keyboards for parts. Which locale are you in?

I'm finding info on a bunch of different keyboards, but none of the UK ones. I'm escalating it to see if there is info elsewhere that I just don't have access to. It looks like they were sold in the EMEA areas (Europe, Middle East and Asia) so they should have a UK/English version...
