@egydiocoelho  I have an ACER SWIFT 5 15.6 inch Laptop and I have received the following error message 'Critical Low Battery'.                                                                          I have tried to put a pin for 4 seconds in the hole on the bottom of the laptop to reset the battery.   I have then left the laptop for 5 minutes and then reconnected with my charger.  The 'blue' and 'orange' buttons come on.  The orange button flashes for two seconds and then the 'Critical Low Battery' message pops up for around 15 seconds, before the machine closes down.  I have repeated the above steps 4 times, but to no avail.  I even tried putting the pin in the hole for 10 seconds.

The machine is still within 12 months warranty.

Can you please provide me with a solution to this issue ?  T

Thanks.

Turn the machine off. Plug the charger back in but don't try to turn the machine on for several hours. If the battery charge LED is still blinking or steady orange after several hours, still don't try to turn the laptop on until the charge LED has turned steady blue. Jack E/NJ

Thanks Jack.  I did try this, a number of times, but continued to receive the 'Critical Low Battery' message.

The item is still in warranty, and it has been sent back to the manufacturer for repair.

Seems like the best choice. Thanks for reporting back. Jack E/NJ

You're welcome Jack.  I think this is an issue I will have to contend with in the future too.
