so i don't know how and why my acer predator triton 300 i5 9300h with gtx 1650 heats up when ever i plug in the charger first i thought it was the bios update i updated it from version 1.04 to 1.08 then i tried downgrading the bios to previous version and it still heats upto 90+ degrees the idle temp is ok but when i play games and do a cpu stress test it heats up it goes from 50 degrees to 90 as soon as a press the start button on the stress test i have tried everything undervolting the CPU bios downgrade resetting windows  updating windows and non of it seem to work. The system came with bios version 1.03 and i searched everywhere i can't find it.On the website only till v1.04 so can anyone help ? because i cant play games it gets really hot while playing  games.Games lag and some closes automatically and it only happens when i plug in without charging the device i can play games and the temperature stays under 75 and 80 is the max so please help me and thank you.due to quarantine i can't go to the service center

Its a bit confusing, you first said that 'heats up when ever i plug in the charger' and then you say 'it only happens when i plug in without charging the device' so which is it? Does your system heat up when you have the charger DC jack plugged in and charging or when the charger DC jack is just plugged in and not charging? As just having the chargers DC jack just plugged in and not charging is impossible for your laptop to overheat.

Note: the "Predator Triton 300 PT315-51-58BG" Advanced BIOS has no settings for fans speeds or CPU core settings, its probably in your "Predator Sense" settings are set incorrectly e.g. your Overclocking or Fan Control or both are set wrong or too high as, any BIOS version would make no difference to your temps. High temps usually happen and has to do with either your CPU or your GPU temps so 'which one of these is overheating' is it the CPU i5-9300H or the GPU GTX-1650? These problems usually occur if you have set your "Predator Sense" settings incorrectly or because your fans or your case vents are blocked by dust and/or felt and also the CPU's and GPU's paste has deteriorated and need repasting.

I have the same problems as you, but I have the i7 version of Triton 300. I did underclock the cpu, turn off the turbo boost, and even replace the thermal paste. What I get was 2 degrees cooler, from 95 degrees to 93 degrees even with a cooling pad. I have a solution for you, makes the maximum CPU state to 80% or below, It makes my laptop runs cooler but slower. I don't know why this happening, is it because lack of Triton 300 cooling solution, bad unit, or because of I live in a tropical country (Indonesia)?
